Falling…

So… I posted this picture on my Facebook page. As notifications came from the pictures I posted I was surprised by the notification, I was expecting the following descriptions: silly, omg, girl that’s a good one… instead I got: Awesome! In action!! Love this picture. Gorgeous. Captures everything I love about you! and a face with hearts.

So this is what happened before this photo: I was sitting on my dad’s lap while he was on the wheelchair, posing for a picture. I wanted a memory of my sitting on my dad lap and a special event. Well… next thing I knew … I was falling without a clue of what happened.

The comments caused me to take a look a look at the picture again (by the way I almost didn’t post it because it didn’t match all the other ones for which I posed. Rather a silly one or a nice one, I posed for them all.

In taking a second look, this is what I leaned.

1- Friends can help you find beauty in your mess.

2- Authenticity is beautiful regardless of how it looks. Because authenticity is something that shows the real you.

3- How fun it can be. Even when I realized things seems to be falling apart, I could take a minute to laugh.

4- In the picture, I notice my dads hand grabbing me which led me to think: When I am falling, I want to continue to work in that moment, in the mist of the fall. God won’t let me go. I may look like a mess going down, but I am His mess and He got me!
