Keepsake #10.

Following are highlights from three prayers that had no dates on them. Each served as a keepsake that reminded me, for God’s plans to come to fruition it took, has taken and will continue to take being intentional about digging deep, staying vulnerable with myself, God and others. It’s going to take putting all my heart on the line or more like putting my heart in God’s hand. To see God’s work I must bring all of me to him. It’s not easy but 25 years of staying committed leads me to saying: It continues to be worth persevering to stay committed to God and his Word.

Today be the glory!

“I pray today I will do what is right, not what I feel. God I will like a heart like Job, I want my actions to describe some of the things you said about him. I don’t want to fall for Satan tricks and give into sin. The reason I don’t pray about certain issues is because I'm too lazy to act upon it or do the work it will take to go through with what I prayed about. I realized I think too much about myself or how much I can or can’t handle; I don’t look at situations through your eyes and I limit the power of you in my life.”

“God I pray I will be a giver no matter what the cost; and that I will stop being a fantasy prayer person but an action prayer person.”

“Since I became a disciple my life has changed. I’m more aware of my faults; I always thought that having a life with you (God) will be a fairytale, no worries, just happiness. I have realized that a life with you means being righteous and through the struggles rely on you to help  so at the end you will be glorified even more.”

“I am grateful for using me to touch so many people’s lives; because people find my life as an example, I owe that to you. I think about my life and how much it has changed and how much it will change… you have truly blessed me with things that mean more than money.”

“I want to picture you digging out the sin in my heart and planting new seeds of righteousness.”

“I know you will not write me back but I know I will hear some responses from you when you think it’s right.”

“Help me to bear much fruit for you and then take care of it with all my heart.”

Thank you for taking the time to read and may it serve the purpose for which God is having you read them.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.’ Jeremiah 29:11-13
